It is with great pride and excitement that I share the news that Trilogy Education has raised $50 million in Series B financing.

When Trilogy began in 2015, it was with the clear mission of helping professionals develop the skills they need to thrive in the digital economy. To date, and in partnership with 35 of North America’s most forward-thinking universities, we have helped thousands of adult learners reposition their career trajectories as companies big and small have turned to Trilogy for a trusted pipeline of top talent.

And we are just getting started. With new technologies emerging on a near-daily basis, the gap between jobs and skills continues to widen throughout the global economy. Adults are staying in the workforce longer than ever, at a time when 65 percent of kindergartners will enter positions that do not yet exist. By uniting universities, employers, and working adults, we believe we can bridge the skills divide and give every person the opportunity to pursue a rewarding career in the digital economy.

The time is now for a new model of workforce acceleration—one that responds rapidly to the needs of employer communities by blending hands-on classroom learning with a dynamic, market-driven curriculum, access to robust career services, student mentoring and a multinational network of employers.

I am proud of Trilogy for driving this movement, and I couldn’t ask to work with a more passionate, purpose-driven results-oriented team. We are also incredibly grateful to our university partners and fortunate to have the confidence of leaders in the venture industry: Highland Capital Partners, Macquarie Capital, Exceed Capital, Rethink Impact, City Light Capital, and Triumph Capital LLC.

Today and always, I am truly #TrilogyProud.
